Woodstock

Ash loves playing with one of his best buddy's Paul the cat
After play time hes ready for a nap under the blanket with Al

This week was another good one for Al and Ash on Saturday they did a nice job in juniors he got 4th out of 4 but after the judge asked how old Ash is and when Al said 7 months she said he was very brave and to keep it up because when Ash gets a little older they are going to be unbeatable ( I like this judge)

On Sunday Ash and Al Looked amazing his stand was beautiful  his down and back was great he stood still for the exam the judge was taking long looks at the pair and then she walked around to the other side of the line so Al had to move to Ash's other side and the sweet little thing thought he would help Al out and turned around so Al wouldn't be on the wrong side.  The judge had to turn her head to stop from laughing but over all good day even with no placements
In breed we didn't do so well the giant Vizsla seem to beat us but that's OK we are just waiting for our chance to shine .  Ash may not be as big but he is always my favorite in the ring and when he gets a little older he's gonna kick butt until then someone has to provide the points
Next weekend Wheaton

Bloomington

After a week at Kees nationals everyone was tired out Ash was really good
Alex got a 2nd and a 3rd in juniors (out of 3) but he looked great with Moon

We had 3 fun days competing in bloomington there  wasn't very many entry's 2 class and 2 special dogs the first 2 days no Bitches and just Ash and a Special the last day
Terry had to take them on Sat. and he was very impressed with the progress they have made.  The judge that day told Al all Ash needs is a little time to Mature but that he is a really nice Pup

We looked at it as a great chance to practice. The other class dog was Gauge his owners are really nice they are going to help Alex start with Hunt Test since that is what they do most ( we are very excited)
So we were able to give Gauge 2 points (so nice of us)

Ash and Al did attract some interest by viewers when they were playing with a toy waiting for time to go in.  Alot of people asking what breed he is and how big they get

Nice stand for the judge

Alex was showing Ash all his new ribbons he likes the purple and blue ones better than the red and is going to try to collect more of those.
Next weekend Woodstock and it looks like a 3 point major on Sunday we may need some luck but you never know.

Well no show on Saturday for Ash and Al since big brother nick had prom

But Sunday had loads of fun for the pair it was a speciality so there were 48 Vizslas at the show
Vizslas Vizslas everywhere but none as cute as Ash

Ash won 6 to 9 months sweeps Yea Ash and Al

Each puppy got a toy so Ash decided to pick his own

They didn't do as good in breed Ash seems to get tired and decides he would rather relax but that's OK hes just a puppy and it needs to be fun for all so we will just keep going in there and having as much fun

Day 2

Well day 2 Ash did a little better juniors was first and inside out of the cold wind so other than the almost 50 bulldogs in the building there were less distractions.  There was a little trouble getting set for the judge exam but once he got there he did awesome.  Unfortunately the judge told Al after that he needs to get a nicely trained dog if he wants to win.  To her I say just you watch and wait the bond and training will pay off in time and they will be great!!

What is that judge talking about I think they look great

When we got home Ash wanted to see all his ribbons from the weekend and asked me to take a picture of him holding his favorite one.  What a great Puppy

2nd show day 1

Well today Al and Ash had there 2nd show there were once again ups and downs before they went in the ring Ash made a new friend Clue.  Clue is 1 week younger than Ash.  The judge asked if they were litter mates since they looked so much alike.
Ash was mostly good in the breed ring he stood nice for the exam and went around very nice he did have a hard time with remembering that not all time is play time and jumped up on Al when they were waiting.
So Clue won but Ash won reserve so that was exciting

Juniors didn't go so well Ash decided he was done and wasn't going to stand so Al hung in there and the judge was very good saying "aren't puppies wonderful" Ash did go around the ring nicely he has a wonderful gate.

When the day was done there was more great bonding time as Al and Ash snuggled up and slept most  of the way home.  resting for tomorrow and another day of showing

First Show

Well Easter was alot of fun Al and Ash had there first show.  Ash did good he was in the ring with his brothers.  He took 2nd.
After they were done we took the brothers outside to get some pictures, by that time Ash had enough with standing and Al had to work to get a nice shot

He set the back

He went for a ride

He wiggled and squirmed

Pam finally took pity on him and went to help

All you needed to do was turn your back

All three brothers 6 months old
